Camera-Ready Paper Submission Procedure
*** Deadline for Final Paper Submission and Author's Registration is September 10, 2009 ***
The following are the instructions for preparing a final camera-ready submission of an accepted paper. Please adhere to the given instructions so that your paper will be included in the Springer LNCS Proceedings Volumes. Note that all accepted paper are required to be presented at the ICONIP'09 conference in either an oral or poster session.
The final acceptance of your paper is subject to the following conditions:
* Incorporation of reviewers' comments in your final camera-ready paper,
* Conformance to the LNCS format:

and
* Registration by the Author's Registration Deadline date for the conference.
For Oral presentation, the maximum page length is ten (10) pages. Two (2) additional pages at USD $80 per additional page charge may be added, payable during registration. Papers exceeding this limit need special permission from the PC Chair.
For Poster presentation, the maximum page length is eight (8) pages. Two (2) additional pages at USD $80 per additional page charge may be added, payable during registration. Papers exceeding this limit need special permission from the PC Chair and ICONIP'09 Organizers.
The use of the LaTeX Template is highly recommended. However, other formats such as Word or RTF are also acceptable.
Page numbers should NOT be shown in the final camera-ready paper.
Use of Keywords is encouraged by Springer for indexing purposes.
Submission Information
(A) Your archived final online submission must be submitted to the same Springer OCS site as before: http://senldogo0039.springer-sbm.com/ICONIP09/servlet/Conference
Your final submission to the online OCS site is an archived file containing the following three items - submit as a compressed file to the "source file" field on the OCS.
1. Final camera-ready paper in PDF format
2. All source files that are used to produce the final PDF file
(i) LaTeX source files with all the associated style files, special fonts and eps or bib files needed to typeset the manuscript. Compress all these files into a single archive file.
(ii) If possible, use direct latex to pdf conversion (without intermediate dvi,ps)
(iii) Word or RTF source files are also possible submission formats.
3. Signed LNCS Copyright Form
(i)
The copyright form may be downloaded from http://iconip09.org/copyright_ICONIP2009.pdf
(ii) Fill out the form with the following information:
> Title of the Book/Volume/Conference: LNCS ICONIP 2009
> Volume Editor(s): Leung, A., Lee, M., Chan, J.H.
> Title of Contribution: Fill in the title of your paper here
> Author(s) name(s): Fill in your name(s) here
> Corresponding Author's name, address, affiliation and e-mail: Fill in the name, postal address, affiliation and e-email address of the corresponding author here
(iii) Sign the form and then scan it as either an image or pdf file. One author can sign on behalf of all authors.
(B) In addition, send a separate archived file containing the following items to the email address with the subject: "ICONIP'09 Extended Abstract Submission of XXX" where XXX is your paper ID (e.g. 010, 115, 349)
1. An ASCII text file with author information
(i) Provide an additional text file (ASCII characters only) with the surname(s), first name(s) of all authors, written one author per line. If an author has more than one surname, please indicate under which surname the author wishes to be listed in the author index of the proceedings by using block/capital letters.
(ii) Write the name and email address of the corresponding author in the last line.
2. An Extended Abstract
(i) Provide an extended abstract of up to two (2) pages in pdf format to appear in a separate printed Book of Abstracts. Please do not use page numbering.
(ii) Ensure that the title, author(s), and affiliation(s) are entered EXACTLY as written in the paper.
(iii) This book will be printed in A5 size.
